As the leaves change colors and the air gets crisper, there's no better way to embrace the spirit of the season than with some exciting Fall Fest fun! During the week of October 23rd, the GEMS School Culture Committee organized a school-wide Fall Fest Spirit Week to include daily dress up activities, a Scarecrow contest and a Dance Party!
It was clear throughout the week that both students and staff enjoyed the daily dress up options…from dressing like a scarecrow, backwards day…
…flannel day, all one color day, to any way you want day!!
By Friday, the GEMS link was filled with various Scarecrows…34 to be exact! The judges of the contest couldn’t help but recognize each and every one... from the friendliest scarecrow, the most athletic, the creepiest to the most adorable patch of scarecrows!
And what better way to end the week than with an outdoor Dance Party with music provided by “DJ Clow.” With a week of unusually warmer weather to boot, the Fall Fest week was surely a fun way to celebrate the beginning of the Fall Season!
