Summer Institute - being offered in two locations: Georgia Elementary School and Williston 
Dates: July 7, 8, 11, 12, 13

How can online collaborative tools be used to create a 21st century teaching and learning environment? 

In this course participants will explore how to transform teaching and learning with technology tools and skills (Google Tools) and national and state technology standards to create 21st century learning environment. Participants will work in collaborative teams to develop projects/units to support 21st century learning. Teachers completing this course will explore and experience Google tools that support education. Using these tools, teachers will perform an inquiry into collaborative learning in a 21st century teaching and learning environment. Teachers will research collaborative learning, 21st century skills, and state and national standards. They will participate in a hands on workshop and online and face to face discussions. They will also develop a project/unit that supports or models the integration of technology into the curriculum to meet the needs of the 21st century learning. 

Cost: $650 CVEDC Members $700 Non-Members
Credit Option available for additional fee of $285-Pending (3 credits)
