8:00 - 4:00 Daily
One half-day follow-up session in fall 2008. This session will be
scheduled at a later date and will occur before September 30, 2008.
Course Objectives:

Participants will understand the role of technology in society and the
global economy of today and identify some of the skills needed by
students to engage the world of tomorrow.

Participants will increase their level of proficiency and comfort with
various technology tools that can be used to engage students, enhance
instruction, and facilitate high-level thinking and creativity.

Participants will produce a lesson or student learning experience
to use during the 2008-2009 school year that integrates technology and
best practices within the teacher’s content area objectives.
