5.      Old Business:

A.Continue Board Retreat:

- More aggressive “get-out-the-vote”

Irene Bonin asked of email list in with the tax bills, but the bills are just about ready to go out.  Flora Hurteau may have someone to do an email listing.  Maybe in with a town mailing approximately 4 times per year.  Jen Petrie suggested to register to vote at a school function & then Flora suggested at open house.  The “NO” votes are usually consistent, & it’s the “YES” votes that vary.  The signs on the buses will help along with absentee ballots.

- Changing Town Meeting Day/date

Suggested having town meeting the night before the vote, instead of during the day.

- PTA budget engagement should happen earlier

Maybe have this in either January or February.  October 16th to be a budget input meeting at 7pm.

- Compensation for school board members

This item will be discussed in November.

- Budget constraint flexibility for administrators

The Administrators have $3,000 latitude if something comes up.
