Special Board Meeting

These minutes are not approved until accepted by the School Directors at their next meeting. 

Present

Georgia Board Members:  Ron King, Alice Sturgeon, & Chris Mitiguy, Clerk

Administrators:  Phil Higgins, Superintendent;  &  Chris Sumner, Business Manager

Chris Mitiguy called the School Board Meeting to order at 7:00pm.

Chris Sumner recommended the School Board to approve borrowing $1.5 million for the FY’05 Tax Anticipation Note with the Chittenden Bank at a rate of 1.75% with a guaranteed yield of 2.06%.  Chris Sumner also informed the School Board that Amber Baker, the Town Treasurer, was not a signer on the School checking account.  

Alice Sturgeon made a motion to approve borrowing $1.5 million for the FY’05 Tax Anticipation Note with the Chittenden Bank at a rate of 1.75% with a guaranteed yield of 2.06%.  And to authorize Amber Baker as a signer on the School checking account.  Ron King seconded.   Motions passed, unanimously.

Chris Mitiguy adjourned the School Board Meeting at 7:08pm.
