to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:12 PM
II. Public Comment – None.
III. Consent
Agenda
A. Minutes – There has been a contract put in
place for the support staff for the next three years.
ACTION: Motion by Chris Mitiguy to approve the
minutes of the Regular Meeting on November 7, 2006, seconded by Wendy Larose,
approved unanimously.
IV. New Business
A. FY2008
Budget – The first draft of the budget was circulated at an earlier date and a
first round of changes has been made and was presented. Chris Sumner discussed some of the
changes. There has been money budgeted
for the elementary playground and a consolidated bus run. Fund raising efforts were discussed. A significant change in health insurance for
the middle school staff was made due to buyout vs. coverage. The enrichment teacher position has been
increased to a full time teacher position with the hopes of reaching more
children. The mobile lab has been
included in the budget. There is talk
amongst the districts about providing a support service position for the
Franklin West Supervisory Union internet/technology services. The security plan includes multiple projects
throughout the buildings, ie. window replacements, tiling floors, etc. There will be further changes made and
brought for discussion again.
